Crafted for Early Dark by Vignobles Arbeau – this fine French wine is made from grapes grown in the Gaillac region; where some of the earliest plantings were made in Roman times.
Andrew Jefford, multi-award winning wine writer, says: ”(Gaillac) was one of the two Grands Crus of Roman Gaul”, and goes on to say, “As quality wine, it was a millennium ahead of Burgundy and 1500 years ahead of much of Bordeaux.”

A full-flavored wine displaying intense aromas of grapefruit along with other exotic fruit and apples. Fruit forward, it lingers on the palate – finishing with hints of green apple and guava, and a balanced yet refreshing acidity.

Wonderful as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with Indian and Asian finger-foods. Also perfect with vegetables, fish and seafood.
